Links to resources to help your child develop the mathematical concepts presented in the EngageNY math curriculum are presented below.
Kahn Academy: This site provides EngageNY practice and tutorial videos. All students have a login and password. It is the same login and password that students use to access computers at SMS. Additionally, online practice has been assigned to help direct students to the correct information.
Embarc Website: This site was created by a consortium of schools and is available for any school to access who uses the EngageNY/Eureka materials. They have developed helpful explanation videos for most lessons. The videos are meant for adults, not students, however they show how to solve each problem type and are helpful in understanding the purpose of each lesson. The link is currently to Module 1, but others can be explored once at the site. Additionally, the general resources link on this site provides a wealth of other online resources for parents and students.
