Today we will finish up taking our fraction notes and wrap up with a review of fraction strips. All groups will have reviewed using models to show fractions. Make sure you understand this as there will be a graded quiz on Friday that will require you to model two fractions- one with a value below one and another improper fraction with a value above one. I have uploaded a copy of the notes to your Google Classroom so that you can review each night from home without needed to take home your math notebook.
Goal: Understand how to equipartition a region model to show common fractions.
Reminders:
- Weekly Skill Check is due on Friday (this assignment is also uploaded to your Google Classroom)
- Students must work on XtraMath daily (I will be checking and this will count towards your class assignment score.)
