Today is our last day to review math concepts prior to tomorrow's end of unit test. Please make sure you ask questions you still have on any new concepts. The test will include problems on the following:
- Multiplying a decimal value by a whole number using the area model and recording your answer in word, standard, and expanded form.
- Using unit, expanded, and standard forms to compare decimals
- Rounding decimals to the nearest tenth and adding the values
- Adding decimals and finding the difference between two different decimal values
- Explaining how the answers to two different problems - one multiplication and one division can have the same value using a place value chart and words
- Dividing a decimal value and rounding the answer to the nearest whole unit (one)
If you are planning to stay after school today to review for the test, please make sure you have let me know and turned in your note.
