Welcome Mathematicians!
Our first lesson in the unit was how to multiply mentally using our understanding of the properties of multiplication (and of course our amazing knowledge of the powers of 10.)
Today we focus on using this mental math to estimate products after rounding them to the closest reasonable number. Hopefully for many this is not a completely new skill.
Let's focus and be on task....learning a lot in the process!
