Thankfully Thursday finds us focusing on creating a mental place value chart in our mind.  This will allow us to multiply and divide any number by a power of 10 without doing out the calculation.  Persevere....and improve with practice.

A Wacky Wednesday Welcome 5th Graders!
I hope you are ready for a terrific time learning about how understanding our place value system helps you multiply and divide any number by 10, 100, and 1000 easily.

Don't forget to add a new step to our daily routine....turn in your homework to the lettered white containers on the back shelf.  While there....don't forget to pick up your notebook and begin our daily number routine.
